Tired of Google spending your budget with little to show for it? Someone should check what each dollar buys.

Your WP Guy provides Google Ads management services for small businesses and online stores across the US. We build and run your Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube and Local Services Ads campaigns. Then we check every sale Google reports against your real orders and leads. Google Ads management starts at $500 a week, plus your ad spend, with a $3,000 a month minimum ad spend. After the first 90 days it is month to month, and the account is always in your name.

What is Google Ads management?

Google Ads is where you pay Google to show your business in search results, Google Shopping, YouTube and Google Maps. Google Ads management is the weekly work of running that account. That means choosing the searches worth paying for, writing the ads and setting bids and budgets. It also means tracking calls, leads and sales, and blocking what wastes money.

It is not Google Ad Manager, which is a tool for websites that sell ad space. Our fee pays for the work. Your ad spend goes straight to Google.

Where Google Ads budgets go wrong

Your website should be your hardest-working employee, and Google Ads are how you put it to work. Here is what we find most often when we open an account.

Google's numbers look better than your sales

Google Ads counts a sale when someone clicks and buys within its time window, sometimes twice. Its report can show far more sales than your store or CRM did.

Broad settings, left on

Broad match keywords and automatically applied recommendations show your ads to more people. More people is not always more customers.

Nobody reads the search terms

The real searches behind your clicks are in the account. If nobody checks them every week, you keep paying for the ones that never buy.

Every week this goes unchecked, Google keeps spending on clicks that were never going to buy.

Your guide

The person you talk to watches your Google Ads

We get it. You may have paid for Google Ads that looked great in the report and did nothing for your bank account.

Jonathan Wofford founded Your WP Guy in 2016 and is Google Ads certified. He watches, checks and verifies every Google Ads account we manage. A senior team helps set up and build out campaigns. There is no junior account manager learning on your budget, and Jonathan is on your monthly call. You get peace of mind, because we have your back.

Our team builds and looks after WordPress and WooCommerce websites, so we set up your conversion tracking ourselves. If the page your ads send people to needs work, we quote that separately first.

The Google Ads campaigns we run

We pick the campaign types that fit what you sell and your budget. Most businesses start with one or two.

Search

Text ads at the top of Google when someone searches for what you do. The usual place to start for service businesses.

Shopping

Product ads with a photo and price, fed from your WooCommerce or store catalog, for people ready to buy.

Performance Max

One campaign across Search, Shopping, YouTube, Maps and Gmail, run by Google's automation and guided by the sales tracking we set up.

YouTube

Video ads before and beside videos your customers watch. Our design team makes the video ads.

Google Maps

Your business promoted in the map when someone nearby searches, with a tap to call or get directions.

Local Services Ads

The Google Guaranteed or Google Screened ads at the very top of local searches, for service businesses. You pay per lead, not per click.

Remarketing, ads that follow up with people who visited your site but did not buy, starts at $250 a week, plus a $1,500 a month minimum ad spend.

What we do every week

Google Ads management is not set it and forget it. This is the work your fee pays for.

Read the search terms

We look at the real searches behind your clicks and block the ones that never buy, like job seekers and people looking for something free.

Check tracking against real sales

Calls, form leads and orders are tracked on your WordPress site and checked against Google Analytics and your store, so each sale counts once.

Move the budget

Money moves to the campaigns, products and keywords that bring back sales, and away from the ones that do not.

Test the ads

New ad copy runs against the old, and the losers get turned off. For Shopping, we clean up product titles and the product feed.

Watch Google's changes

Google has a lot of ideas for spending your money, and it applies some of them on its own. We check each one first.

Report and call every month

You see what you spent, what it brought in and what we are changing, then go over it with Jonathan.

What we did for one online store's Google Ads

We can't name every client, so here is one we can describe. PKL is an online store whose Google Ads account we took over in 2026.

Google Ads was reporting about twice the sales that Google Analytics could confirm. More than half the keyword budget went to searches that had never sold anything. We set the bidding to real purchases, blocked those searches and fixed the tracking.

Now the account is judged on the sales Google Analytics confirms, not the number Google Ads reports.

PKL, Google Ads

56% to 10%Share of keyword spend going to searches that never made a sale.

5.4 to 6.8Confirmed sales per $1,000 spent.

Is Google Ads right for your business?

  • Good fit: people already search Google for what you sell, a new customer is worth more than a few clicks, and you can spend at least $3,000 a month on ads.
  • Good fit: an online store with products people search for by name, type or brand.
  • Not yet: nobody searches for what you sell because it is new. People need to see it first, so Facebook and Instagram ads usually fit better.
  • Not yet: your website cannot take a call, a form or an order easily. Fix that first, or every click costs more than it should.

Your first 90 days

Weeks 1 and 2: access, tracking and build

You give us access to your Google Ads account, or we set one up in your name. We set up call, lead and sales tracking, build the campaigns and send the ads to Google for review.

Days 30 to 60: cut what does not sell

With real search and sales data in, we block the searches that do not buy. We test new ads and move budget to what works. This is when you can start judging results.

Month 3: grow what works

More budget goes to the campaigns and products that sell at a cost that works for you, and we plan the next quarter.

Every month: a report and a call

Every month you get a report and a call with Jonathan. It shows what you spent, the clicks, calls and form leads it brought, and your cost per lead. It also shows the sales Google Analytics confirmed, the searches we blocked and what we are changing next.

How it works

Google Ads management pricing

Google Ads management starts at $500 a week, which is about $2,170 a month. Your ad spend is separate, and Google bills it to the account in your name. We ask for at least $3,000 a month, about $100 a day. That is the minimum we see for the best return. So the smallest Google Ads plan we run costs about $5,170 a month in total, with most of it going to Google.

The first 90 days give us time to build, test and learn. After that it is month to month. YouTube video ads are made by our design team and included. Landing page fixes on your WordPress site are not part of the weekly fee, and we quote them separately first.

Not ready to switch? Our Google and Facebook Ads Review is a one-time $899 check of your tracking, your reported sales against your real orders, and your campaigns, with a written report and a call. See every price on our pricing page.
