Do you ever feel stuck on Wix, paying every month for a website you cannot take with you?

Your WP Guy migrates Wix websites to WordPress for small businesses. Wix has no export tool, so we rebuild your site in WordPress, with the same design most of the time. We move your pages and blog posts and redirect every old link. Prices start at $999, with a fixed quote first.

Why businesses move from Wix to WordPress

Your website should be your hardest-working employee. On Wix, it lives on someone else's servers. Here is what gets in the way.

A site you rent

In Wix's own words, "your site must run on Wix's servers." If you ever want to leave, there is no tool to take it with you.

Posts that cannot leave

Wix's help pages say blog posts cannot be exported to other platforms. Years of posts stay behind unless someone moves them.

Room to grow

As your business grows, you want more control over speed, SEO and features than a builder gives you.

The longer you wait, the more pages and posts there are to move.

Your guide

A team that moves sites into WordPress

We get it. You like how your site looks. You just want it to be yours, and easier to change.

Jonathan Wofford started Your WP Guy in 2016, and our design team has built WordPress websites for small businesses ever since. We already rebuild HTML, ChatGPT and Claude sites in WordPress, and Wix works the same way. You get peace of mind, because we have your back.

We have won the Innovation in Business MarTech Award for Best Website Maintenance Company twice, in 2023 and 2024.

How we migrate Wix to WordPress

Because Wix cannot export your site, every Wix to WordPress move is a rebuild. We do it by hand, so nothing important gets left behind.

Your pages and design, rebuilt in WordPress
Every blog post copied over, with its images
Store products, if you sell online
Contact forms, and where they send
Every old page address, redirected to its new home

Most of the time, your new WordPress site looks just like your Wix site. If you want changes while we move it, we talk about them first.

How Wix to WordPress works

Get your fixed quote

Send us your Wix link. We count your pages, posts and products, then give you a fixed quote.

We rebuild it in WordPress

We match your design, copy your content and set up a redirect for every old page.

You review it, and it goes live

You look it over and ask for changes. Then we point your domain and launch.

Move it yourself, use a tool, or have it done?

You'll often read that moving from Wix takes an afternoon. With no export tool, here is how the choices compare.

Option	What it costs	What you get
Do it yourself	Your time	Every page and post copied by hand, plus the design and redirects
A one-click import tool	A plugin fee, or free	Some posts pulled in, with the design, pages and redirects left to you
