Do you ever search for a product you sell and find three other stores first?
Your WP Guy provides ecommerce SEO services for online stores. We help your products and categories show up when shoppers search, on Google, on Bing and in AI answers. We get your products into the free Shopping listings too. We are WooCommerce developers, so we fix what we find inside your store. Ecommerce SEO starts at $875 a week, month to month.
Why online stores get stuck in search
Your website should be your hardest-working employee. A store should sell while you sleep. Here is what keeps shoppers from finding it.
Filters that make look-alike pages
Every size, color and price filter can make a new web address. Google spends its time on thousands of near copies, not your best products.
Product pages with the maker's words
The same description sits on every store that sells the item. Google has no reason to pick yours.
Products missing from Shopping
Google and Bing both show products for free. If your product feed is broken or missing, your products are not there.
Every shopper who finds a competitor first is a sale you never knew you lost.
Your guide
An ecommerce SEO agency that has run a store
We get it. You want more orders, not a lecture on crawl budgets.
Jonathan Wofford started Your WP Guy in 2016. Before that, he ran an online furniture store on WooCommerce with well over 65,000 products. Our team works inside WooCommerce stores every day, so we know where big catalogs trip up in search. You get peace of mind, because we have your back.
We have won the Innovation in Business MarTech Award for Best Website Maintenance Company twice, in 2023 and 2024.

Where ecommerce SEO usually breaks
A weak page title is rarely the real problem. On most stores, it is how the catalog is built. Here is what we see most, and what we do about it.
| What goes wrong | What it costs you | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Filters for size, color and price | Thousands of look-alike pages for Google to crawl | Keep the filters people search for, and keep the rest out of Google |
| The maker's product copy | The same words as every other store selling it | Write your own copy for the products that matter most, starting with your best sellers |
| Products you stopped selling | Dead pages that lose the links they earned | Point each one to the closest product or category with a 301 redirect |
| Product schema left half done | No price or stock shown next to your listing | One clean set of product schema, checked in Google's own tools |
| A fast home page, slow product pages | The pages that sell are the ones that lag | Speed work on the product and category pages, not just the home page |
WooCommerce SEO, from the people who build stores
Most of our stores run on WooCommerce, the store built into WordPress. We tune Rank Math or Yoast, clean up schema from the theme and plugins, and fix speed in the store itself.
Free listings are part of the work. Google can show your products for free in Search, the Shopping tab, Images and Maps. Bing has a free section in its shopping tab too. Both need a product feed in their Merchant Center. Microsoft can even import yours from Google, so one good feed covers both.
Paid Shopping ads are a separate service. See Google Shopping ads, from $500 a week plus ad spend.

What ecommerce SEO did for one store
We can't name every client, so here is one we can describe. PKL is an online store on WooCommerce that we run SEO for. These are its own Google Search Console numbers. Impressions and clicks compare July 2025 with April 2026. Average position starts in October 2025, after Google changed how it counts results.
Every store is different, and nobody can promise rankings. This is what the work did for one store.
PKL, before and after

An SEO agency or a WooCommerce team?
Most SEO agencies stop at the report. Here is the difference.
| A typical SEO agency | Your WP Guy | |
|---|---|---|
| The audit | A report, then a list for your developer | We find it and fix it inside your store |
| Shopping listings | Left to whoever runs your ads | Free Google and Bing listings kept approved |
| Search engines | Google only | Google, Bing and AI answers |
| Price | A call before you see a number | From $875 a week, month to month |
