The Problem

Millions of people use Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App every day — but WooCommerce doesn't support them out of the box. Customers want to pay the way they already pay their friends. You want to avoid credit card processing fees.

What SendDollar Does

SendDollar Payments for WooCommerce adds three new payment gateways to your checkout. Customers choose their preferred app, send payment directly to your account, and you verify it — manually or automatically via email monitoring.

Security Audited. v1.1.2 has passed a full security audit with 0 Critical and 0 High findings. All inputs are sanitized, outputs escaped, and AJAX endpoints protected with nonces and capability checks.

Three Payment Gateways

Each gateway is independently configurable. Enable one, two, or all three at checkout.

Zelle

Bank-to-bank transfers. No fees, instant delivery. Customers pay via their banking app.

  • Email & phone number display

Venmo

Social payments made easy. Customers tap a button to open the Venmo app directly.

  • Receipt upload

Cash App

Fast mobile payments with $cashtag support. One tap opens Cash App with amount prefilled.

  • Deep link to Cash App
  • QR code generation
  • Custom payment instructions
  • Receipt upload

How It Works

From checkout to verification in four steps.

2019-01-01

1. Customer Selects SendDollar

At checkout, the customer chooses Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App. The order is placed with status Pending SendDollar Payment.

2020-01-01

2. Payment Instructions Displayed

The thank-you page shows your payment details, QR code (Venmo/Cash App), deep link button, and a payment deadline countdown. Instructions are also included in the order confirmation email.

3. Customer Sends Payment & Uploads Receipt

The customer sends money through their app, then uploads a receipt screenshot and/or transaction ID on the thank-you page or in My Account.

4. You Verify the Payment

Manual:
Review receipts on the SendDollar Payments dashboard and approve, decline, or record partial payment.

The plugin monitors your email inbox, matches payment notifications to orders, and auto-approves high-confidence matches.

Dashboard Features

Payment Queue

Order Edit Meta Box

Each WooCommerce order with a P2P payment shows a dedicated meta box with payment method details, receipt preview, transaction ID, partial payment tracking, and approval/decline buttons.

Automated Email Verification

Stop manually checking every payment. Let the plugin monitor your inbox and match payments to orders automatically.

How It Works

2019-01-01

1. Connect Your Email

Configure IMAP credentials or connect via OAuth2 (Gmail or Microsoft Outlook). The plugin monitors your inbox for payment notification emails.

2020-01-01

2. Emails Are Parsed

The parser extracts sender name, payment amount, timestamp, and memo from Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App notification emails.

2021-01-01

3. Smart Order Matching

A confidence-scoring algorithm matches parsed payments to pending orders using transaction IDs, order numbers in memos, exact/fuzzy amount matching, customer names, and time windows.

2021-01-01

4. Auto-Approve or Flag for Review

High-confidence matches (95%+) are auto-approved. Medium-confidence matches are saved to an “Unmatched Payments” queue for your manual review.

Matching Confidence Levels

95–99% Transaction ID or order number in memo + exact amount Auto-approved
85–94% Exact amount match within time window Flagged for review
60–84% Fuzzy amount (1% tolerance) + customer name Flagged for review
Below 60% Weak match signals Logged, not matched

Email automation requires the PHP IMAP extension and an active premium license. Email checks run on a scheduled cron with a batch limit of 20 emails per run to prevent timeouts.
